Toronto – City Life Film Project will premiere three short films at a special screening at the TIFF Bell Lightbox on Tuesday, November 16th. The program, in its inaugural year, seeks to provide talented youth from priority neighbourhoods with the unique opportunity to tell stories…from their communities and to achieve artistic excellence through filmmaking.

This year’s line-up includes “Trespassing” by Ritchie Acheampong, “The Garden” by Ana Astaiza and “Balancing Act” by Ayanie Naseem. Each Youth participant was paired with industry mentors (Calum deHartog, Charles Officer, Clement Virgo and Karen Walton) who helped mentor guide them through the entire production process.
